The ultrasound waves cause a cavitation effect (bubbles) in the intercellular fluid surrounding subcutaneous fat cells. This action causes the fat cells to rupture, while all other cellular membrane, tissues and systems remain unaffected. When the fat cells are ruptured the contents of the fat cells; triglycerides and adipocytes are released into the body and absorbed by the body’s lymphatic system and then processed out of the body through the liver by the body’s natural metabolism.

Vacuum Butt Lift
Unlike the Brazilian butt lift, vacuum therapy (also known as vacuotherapy) is noninvasive and tones your buttocks without the use of incisions. Similar to a lymphatic drainage massage, vacuum butt therapy is a massaging technique that helps lift and contour the buttocks via a suction device equipped with glass cups. After a mini massage, two small suction cups are moved over the thigh and buttocks area, manipulating the tissue, then two larger suction cups are sealed over each side of the butt for approximately 30 minutes.
Before & After Care
Aftercare is detailed, however, it is crucial for achieving the best results. Your results will be optimised if the aftercare is followed.
Drink 1.5L (34oz) of water prior to and following your treatment. Stagger 2L intake of water over 24 hours, for three days post-treatment. This will help hydrate your body and facilitate the metabolism and elimination of the lipids and glycerides that are broken down by the ultrasound treatment. Always carry a large bottle with you to encourage water intake.
Massage the treatment area for approximately 10 minutes shortly following procedure. This will help stimulate the metabolism of the disintegrated fat cells and further enhance the elimination of fat in the area treated.
Avoid alcoholic beverages before and after the day of treatment. The metabolism of alcohol will inhibit the metabolic break down of the disintegrated fat cells and impede the elimination of fat in the area treated.
A minimum of 30 minutes of elevated heart rate cardio exercise is required post-treatment. This is best to be done immediately after the treatment, and for three days following. This is to ensure the stored energy released by the cavitation process is burnt off. If cardio is not your style, this is where infrared sauna sessions may assist, as it has a similar effect on the body.
Lymphatic drainage will help eliminate released toxins from the body. This can be done post-treatment via a massage or using cavitation vacuum treatments.
Maintaining a low calorie, low carbohydrate, low fat, and low sugar diet 24 hours pre-treatment and three days post-treatment will help achieve the best results. This is to ensure your body utilizes the triglycerides (a type of body fat) released by the fat cavitation process. If suitable, we also encourage our clients to stick to this diet as much as they can. Many find this to be a great starting point for maintaining a healthier lifestyle in the future.
By following the aftercare plan, the results will be visible. It is a non-invasive treatment which requires no downtime but your commitment, and offers results which are comparable to liposuction.
